Loaded Tater Tots Recipe – crispy bacon-wrapped tater tots, smothered in creamy Ranch dressing and topped with a generous layer of melted cheddar cheese. The ultimate comfort food indulgence that's perfect for game day parties or a cozy night in.
Equipment:
Chef Knives
Cutting Board
Rimmed Baking Sheet with Wire Rack
Rotary Cheese Grater
Ingredients:
1
(32-oz)
package frozen tater tots
2
-lb
bacon
¼
cup
bottled ranch dressing
1½
cups
shredded cheddar cheese
4
green onions
chopped
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 450ºF. Line a baking sheet with foil and set a baking rack inside. Set aside.
Cut each strip of bacon into thirds. Wrap tater tots in bacon and set on the baking rack seam side down.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from oven.
Place cooked tater tots on a baking sheet or in a 9×13-inch pan. Drizzle with Ranch dressing and top with shredded cheese.
Return to oven for 5 minutes, until cheese has melted. Sprinkle with chopped green onions.
Notes:
There is no need to bake the tater tots before wrapping them with bacon.
I recommend thin/regular-cut bacon for this recipe.
Can substitute turkey bacon for pork bacon.
